my Crissy poem

Christmas

the town is full of yule tide cheer,
we are nearly at the end of the year,

christmas trees with lights so bright,
and the whole city, covered in white.

pudding with a flame on the top,
for adults, whiskey that goes pop!

cookies , pie, and lots of cream,
save the gumdrops for your dream.

when you sleep,
do not peep,

at the fat man,
without a tan.

so let kris kringle be.
and remember the days that you sat on his knee,

think of ol' saint Nick,
who delivers so quick.

  1. Beautiful, very well written. I feel like celebrating christmas.I can smell the pudding and see the flame on it.

  2. I agree with the previous comment. I must now go find the lights for the tree. Well done.
